Tigerwood Decking by Tiger Deck®

Tiger Deck's tigerwood decking is made from Astronium spp—an exotic hardwood known for its natural durability, long lifespan and resistance to decay—selected from forests managed with sustainable, responsible practices and processed with the highest standards in milling, kiln drying and grading. Our hidden deck fastening system is unrivaled in ease of installation and ease to maintain. The result? Furniture quality hardwood decking.
Our tigerwood decking materials—rails, hand rails, stepping, fascia, posts and balusters—and other specialty products are the highest quality in the industry and feature the following innovative benefits.
Lasting Durability and Stability
Tigerwood is naturally strong, hard and rot resistant. Tiger Deck has taken the product even further, through extensive R&D, by developing drying schedules and grading practices (including a US grade stamp on every deck board) that minimize the chance of cracking, cupping, or shrinking. Dried properly, this specie is extremely stable and will hold a beautiful finish for numerous years with or without treating.
Tiger Deck hardwood decking materials are dried to 8% +/- 3SD (2x2, 2x4, 2x6 and 4x4 are dried with the same schedule but yield a higher MC) and are graded in the USA to ensure stable, consistent and beautiful hardwood decking that will out last typical North American softwood decking by 2-3 times.
Easy to Install
Our patented hidden deck fastening system increases construction efficiency and virtually eliminates pre-drilling. Follow the installation instructions provided and you will find this a very user-friendly system to install.
Low Maintenance
Let the deck age naturally with no treatment at all or apply a UV protectant annually to maintain the hardwood's striking color.
Sustainable
Every step in Tiger Deck's tigerwood supply chain—from harvest to the end consumer—meets rigorous criteria for social, economic and environmental responsibility. FSC® certified products are available upon request. Read more about our sustainable hardwood and responsible harvest practices.
